CAMP GOD’s ARMOUR—YOUTH CAMP (December 26-29, 2018)

For the past how many years, youth camps have been the instrument to change the lives of numerous young hearts through the preaching of the Word of God and working of the Holy Spirit. Great Shepherd Baptist Church of San Antonio, Nueva Ecija, Inc. youth joined the last camp at Balaring, Natividad, Nueva Ecija last December 26 to 29, 2018 with the theme: CAMP God’s Armour. We traveled for about 2 hours to unite with our co-young Christians with our only goal was to know Christ more and to be encouraged by the Word of God. During the first day, we were challenged by the sermon of Pastor Bong Macadangdang focusing on the first half of the Armour of God, that all Christians should be wearing in all aspects of life. We have enjoyed the fellowship of our fellow youth from different churches in Nueva Ecija division. The second day went well as we heard the challenge by Pastor Rolly Quirong who established the other half of God’s Armour. He explained one by one the advantages wearing the breastplate of righteousness and the shield of faith.

All in all, words here can’t cover the whole journey of our camping but we affirm ourselves that we are blessed and ready to continue the ministry that God has entrusted upon our shoulders. We’ll definitely join a camping again. Hopefully this summer. Praying here
