The Essentiality of Worship Services Resumption last June 2020 - Sis. Angelle Galasinao

After 3 long months locked inside our homes, the Great Shepherd Baptist Church of San Antonio, Nueva Ecija, Inc. finally resumed physical worship services in that way we also had the opportunity to GO LIVE through Social Media Casting last June 2020. The resumption became a great blessing for the members. Although the pandemic still exists, we are beyond thankful to God because of His intervention. As long as we follow the proper health protocols, the church will be able to continue our face-to-face and online worship services and activities.

This pandemic has never been easy to everyone, the members prayed fervently because we know the importance of worship services - especially in our spiritual lives. We thank the Lord for He never allowed His children to starve during the quarantine period. Now, we can say that “Church is Essential”, as according to Matthew 4:4, We need spiritual food. Hearing the word of God every Sunday and attending Prayer Meetings are more essential than eating our physical food every day.

Staying at home is safe especially during this moment, but which is more essential? Our Physical Body that lasts only for a moment or our Spirituality with an eternal value?
