Church’s Field Ministries
Jail Ministry, Share-a-Bible Ministry, Adults’ Bible Study,
Kids’ Outreach Program and Feeding Ministry)
Doing ministry for our highest Master, Jesus Christ is really worthwhile. It is not because we are in constant anticipation for reward but simply because it is what God wants for us to do. For us to work effectively for Him, we need to distinguish and analyze our heart’s content first because we don’t want to treat our ministry as a job – they bear a grave difference.
Great Shepherd Baptist Church of San Antonio Nueva Ecija Inc. is following God’s call by conducting the follow ministries held outside the church: the Jail Ministry at San Antonio Jail, Share-a-Bible Ministry, Adults Bible Study in several areas around San Mariano, and the the Kid’s Outreach Program and Feeding Ministry at Julo and San Mariano. Pastor Ulysis Manalon together with the hardworking preachers consistently goes around the San Antonio Jail to share God’s word in the prisoners and police officers and recently, they were able to give out some Bibles for them or the Share-a-Bible Ministry or the SAB Ministry. The Adults Bible study and Joint Kid’s Outreach Program go hand in hand where in a certain area, Ma’am Vec and the teachers such as Teacher Melbert, Teacher Angel, Teacher Quezhia and Teacher Angela teach the kids while in a certain house Pastor Ulysis and Preacher Adel, Preacher Renz, Preacher Uly and Preacher Uel conducts the Adults Bible Study. Every last Sunday of the month, GSBC holds a joint outreach program and feed them with the family assigned for the said ministry.
They have a strong faith that doing these ministries will help to spread the word of God and to declare His mighty name across the world. Although with the face of danger from the circulating virus, they still sacrifice and entrust their safety unto God. The aforementioned ministries are essential and for that they always cling on to the hope that one day, they will be able to these ministries in a normal way again where they can offer a simple handshake and hugs to these adults and kids – a representation of God’s love to them.
